Campo Del Cielo Meteorite
This meteorite comes from Argentina from an area 3 x 18.5 kms and from one of the 26 known craters. The meteorites from here have been documented from 1576, however it is believed that the meteorite struck 4000-5000 years ago. Over 100 tonnes of this iron meteorite have been recovered making it the heaviest one ever recorded on earth.
