A nice Cornish Serpentine palm stone from The Lizard, Cornwall.
It weighs approx approx 43g – 55 x 45 x 8mm
I am slightly biased towards Cornish Serpentine because I live in Cornwall and I absolutely love it. I love the energy of all Serpentine but Cornish Serpentine is a little bit different in the respect that has some fire / spark to it. It’s becoming increasingly rare to find and very expensive.
Cornish Serpentine is found at the foot of the Lizard peninsula, Cornwall’s most southerly point. Though it occurs elsewhere in the world (see my Peruvian Serpentine palm stones for sale), the Cornish variety is uniquely coloured; dark green, red or grey and has contrasting seams, it polishes like marble to a wonderfully deep sheen.
This attractive stone was created millions of years ago when peridotite, a rock rich in iron and magnesium, was thrust upwards from beneath the earth’s crust.
Serpentine is one of the best stones for rousing the Kundalini energies, the serpent power, that is said to reside at the base of the spine. (Simmons)
It has a soft, grounding, rooted energy and helps me connect with all of nature. The Book of Stones talks about the DNA of life on this planet, Serpentine carries within it the matrix of evolution for the Earth herself. In meditation, it can help the connection with the mind and heart of Nature. A powerful stone for earth healers.
Affirmation – I commit myself to manifesting the Divine potential that resides in the cells of my physical body and the vibrational pattern of my energy body, and I offer my service to the healing and evolution of the Earth.
