Super rare Greenlandite tumbled stones from Greenland.
I love to bring some of the rarer Greenland stones to my shop, so I’m super excited to be able to offer these rare Greenlandite tumbles.
Greenlandite geologically speaking, consists of quartzite with a large content of Fuchsite. Quartzite is made of fine-grained quartz, while the chromium-containing Fuchsite resembles glitter, with fine spangles distributed throughout the rock. Greenlandite is a hard mineral, often translucent with a metallic inner glow derived from its many spangles. this type of stone is also known, in the jewellery trade, as Aventurine Quartz.
Like many of the Greenland crystals, it is very old. It was discovered in the 1960s during the survey of the large iron deposit, Isukasia north of Nuuk. Greenlandite was subsequently discovered in several localities in the Godhabsfjord area. It was later proven that the geological environment in which Greenlandite was formed was around 3.8 billion years old.
It has a similar energy to Green Aventurine but a much stronger vibration. It has resonance with the heart and solar plexus chakras.
These Greenlandite tumbles measure approx 1 inch on the longest side. The price is for one stone.
When I select your tumble stone, I will always pick the very best one I have at the time. Sometimes this might mean that the best is a little smaller than I would like and in this instance, I will always double up and send you two.
