Mysterious, magical Super Seven AKA The Melody Stone.
These Super Seven slices are very nice. They show an array of the seven minerals, some even show the sought after rutile.
You will see that I’ve taken a couple of pictures that show a reflection. I did this to show you that all slices like this have natural fissures/lines. If you don’t know, they could be mistaken for scratches. They aren’t scratches. It’s what is left after the polishing process. The natural crevices and fissures.
Super Seven ranges in colour, from deep Purple to smoky, almost black, red to crystal clear and some have amazing inclusions of gold, pink and black rutile.
Super Seven is a name given to a group of minerals that are found together.
The seven minerals are; Amethyst, Cacoxenite, Goethite, Clear Quartz, Lepidocrocite, Rutile and Smoky Quartz.
The seven minerals can be found all around the world but grouped together, I’m not entirely sure of the exact locations. I can only speak from my own experience. All of the Super Seven I own and sell comes from the Espiritu Santo region of Brazil, just north of Rio De Janeiro. The mines used to be closed due to flooding but they are now operational again. I have a direct line to the source now, so I can confirm 100% that this is true.
The term that is often associated with Super Seven is The Melody Stone. As far as I know, and I don’t know a great deal about it, but I believe that Melody is a woman who owns some land where these minerals were present, and she trademarked the name, The Melody Stone.
There is a wealth of information on Super Seven. My journey with it started in 2012, I bow graciously to it and understand it as well as it will allow. I feel it is a stone that can help us move through these difficult times. There are many layers to Super Seven, which one will you find? It quite literally changed my life!
This slice weighs 38g and measures 65 x 42 x 7mm
