Uruguayan Amethyst is the best Amethyst. The colour is intense, the lustre (shine) is stunning, and some may mistake it for being polished, but it isn’t. They are natural crystal terminations.
Amethyst is one of the most popular crystals out there. It is loved by many, including myself. It’s a wonderful aid for meditation practice and a great ally for those struggling with addictions (of all sorts). It helps us to let go while keeping a watchful and supportive eye on us.
Amethyst is connected to the third eye chakra, the 6th chakra and the crown chakra, the 7th chakra – I actually think it works well on all the chakras. It’s good for relieving stress, and it banishes headaches.
It’s a protector. Become friends with it.
Amethyst is connected to the element of Air and Wind. It helps us to let go and detach.
