Bespoke Jewellery

A new and exciting collaboration

For a long time, I’ve been wanting to offer a bespoke jewellery-making service. I often get asked if I can make something into a pendant or if I sell rings, etc.

As you know (or you might not), I like to sell small, high-quality, often rare pieces. Usually, they’re some type of quartz, but not limited to. It’s lovely to have these magnificent pieces on display, but when you have something so beautiful, you want to show it off and have it close to you at all times. Maybe you have a very well-loved crystal point or a master crystal that you want with you at all times. Well, now you can!

I’ve teamed up with Wendy from Song of the Sea, and I’m now in the position to offer you a personalised bespoke jewellery-making service. Wendy likes to work by the sea, often in her campervan, taking her skill close to the ocean to get inspiration from the ever-turning tides.

Each piece is made with care, understanding, and the utmost skill. Wendy will work with you to come up with a design of your liking. She doesn’t use glue; all the crystals and silver will be held and/or movable, flowing inside the silver.

The cost of the service varies a lot. There’s the price of the crystal, plus the bespoke jewellery-making service. The jewellery-making starts at around £40 and, depending on the size and time spent, could go up to £100.

Silver ball chains are available to buy as an extra - the cost for these is £15. The reason I offer them as an extra is because many people already have their own chain they like to wear.

You will find a separate section on the website for these special designs. Please reach out to me with any special bespoke requests.

Thank you

About Wendy

Hi, my name is Wendy and I love making jewellery. I have loved art and design since a child, working for many years in the creative industry.

I love the outdoors and am passionate about nature, the sea and the beautiful Cornish landscape that constantly inspires me and my jewellery designs.

I love walking the coast paths and swimming in the many secluded sea pools around Cornwall where my childhood dream of being a mermaid can come alive. Observing the textures and colours of the rocks, the sea and waves, the changing weather and the ebb and flow of the tides make me feel so connected to this ancient landscape.

I love taking my van to remote parts of Cornwall, where I can breath in the landscape and immerse myself in the colours and textures that surround me. With my sketch book in hand and silversmithing equipment on board, I can capture these moments and literally transfer this creativity into my jewellery designs.

I lovingly create every piece of jewellery by hand at my home in Truro or from my van overlooking one of my favourite views by the sea.

I use traditional silversmith, silver clay and enamelling techniques and tools and take an immense sense of pride and pleasure in the pieces of jewellery that I create. I only use naturally formed gem stones and Cornish Sea Glass collected by myself and my family.

I hope that when purchasing a piece of my jewellery it will also give you great pleasure and bring you a little closer to nature, the sea and the beauty of Cornwall.
