This Blue Owyhee Opal has a lovely soft blue colour and some really nice natural patterning throughout. The opal has formed in layers and swirls, creating the flower-like structures that this material is known for. Blue Owyhee Opal comes from the Owyhee region of Oregon and Idaho in the USA. It is a relatively limited material and has become increasingly difficult to source over the years.
