This is an exceptional piece of Fulgurite, and the quality is far above what I usually see available.

A lot of Fulgurite on the market can be very poor quality, fragile, broken-looking or just not very impressive. This one is different. It has a strong natural form, good size, interesting texture and a clearly visible hollow channel where the lightning passed through.

Fulgurite is created when lightning strikes sand, soil or rock, fusing the minerals together with intense heat. Each piece is completely natural and formed in a moment of extreme energy, which makes good examples very special.
