Sale price£8.00 GBP

Impactite Tumbled Stone – Gardnos Crater, Norway

Formed in a violent meteorite impact hundreds of millions of years ago, these fascinating Impactite tumbled stones come from the famous Gardnos Crater in Norway. Each one is a small reminder of an event that dramatically changed the landscape long before humans ever existed.

The price is for one stone, measuring approximately 20 to 25mm.

Gardnos Crater was created around 546 million years ago when a meteorite struck the Earth with enormous force. The immense heat and pressure fused and transformed the surrounding rocks, creating the remarkable material known as Impactite. Every piece is a genuine fragment of that extraordinary event in Earth's history.

These tumbles have a lovely smooth finish while retaining the natural character of the original rock, making them ideal for collectors and anyone fascinated by the story of our planet.
