A stunning sculpture made from Kanab Wonderstone, a specific variety of sandstone found in the high desert of Southern Utah. The piece is defined by its rhythmic, concentric bands of colour known as Liesegang rings. These patterns were formed millions of years ago as mineral-rich groundwater moved through the sediment, leaving behind these fluid layers of terracotta, cream, and deep chocolate brown.

The apertures in these sculptures act as physical lenses, echoing the ancient spirit of holed standing stones such as the Men-an-Tol in Cornwall.
