Lapis Lazuli Freeform – Mine 4, Afghanistan
939g • Approx. 19 x 8 x 3cm

This is one of those pieces that really doesn't need much introduction. Cut from exceptional quality Lapis Lazuli sourced from the famous Mine 4 deposit in Afghanistan, this freeform displays the deep royal blue that has made this material legendary for centuries. The colour is rich and saturated throughout, with beautiful golden flecks of Pyrite scattered across the surface and delicate white Calcite veining adding natural character and contrast.

Highly polished to a mirror-like finish, the quality of the material is immediately obvious. It stands beautifully on its own, creating an elegant display piece that draws the eye from every angle. The elongated flame-like shape gives it a graceful presence, while the sheer depth of blue is something that photographs rarely capture properly.

Mine 4 is regarded as producing some of the finest Lapis Lazuli in the world. It is the source of the material famously selected for the blue dials used in luxury Rolex watches, prized for its intense colour and quality.

Lapis Lazuli has been treasured for thousands of years by royalty, artists, healers, and spiritual seekers. Often associated with wisdom, truth, and inner vision, it remains one of the most sought-after crystals in the world.

A seriously high-grade piece of Lapis Lazuli that showcases exactly why this material has been treasured for millennia. The quality is right up there with the finest examples available today.
