Preseli Bluestone Green Man Carving – Wales
Connection to nature, renewal and the stone of Stonehenge

This Preseli Bluestone Green Man carving weighs 59g and measures approximately 5 x 5 x 1cm. It brings together a stone with a remarkable prehistoric connection and a design celebrating the natural world.

The Green Man’s leafy face is widely interpreted as a symbol of growth, renewal and the changing seasons. Carved in Preseli Bluestone, it makes a meaningful piece for anyone drawn to nature, British heritage and Earth-centred spiritual practices.

Crystal Composition & Energy:

Preseli Bluestone sold for carvings is typically dolerite, an igneous rock containing several minerals rather than a single crystal.

Its Stonehenge connection is particularly special: some of the monument’s smaller stones were brought from the Preseli Hills in south-west Wales, over 150 miles away. This gives the carving a connection through its material and source region to one of Britain’s most extraordinary ancient monuments.

In modern crystal traditions, Preseli Bluestone is associated with grounding, inner strength and ancestral reflection. Paired with the Green Man design, it offers a symbolic reminder of our relationship with the land and its cycles.
