This is top-grade Velvet Malachite with the soft, fibrous crystal growth that gives the mineral its famous silky appearance. As the light moves across the surface, the specimen comes alive with an incredible shimmer and sheen, creating almost a liquid effect across the deep green crystal formations. Photographs rarely do justice to good Velvet Malachite, and this piece is no exception.
