This is a rare and beautifully unusual Golden Muscovite sphere, filled with layers of reflective crystal that flash from soft champagne to rich honey-gold as it moves through the light. The natural sheets and blades of Muscovite overlap throughout the sphere, creating incredible depth and texture beneath the polished surface.

At 70mm and almost half a kilogram, this is a substantial sphere with a strong presence. Muscovite has perfect natural cleavage and separates into thin layers, making larger polished carvings difficult to produce. A sphere of this size and quality is a particularly special find.
