This is a very unusual Septarian egg with an open face covered in beautifully defined Calcite crystals. Rather than the smaller sparkling druzy growth more commonly seen inside Septarian, this piece has clearly formed individual crystals with visible faces, points and natural geometric shapes.

The outside has been polished into a smooth egg shape, framing the exposed crystal-filled centre. The contrast between the dark Septarian matrix and bright, glassy Calcite makes this a particularly striking and rare piece.
