Redwood Petrified Wood Sphere – Madagascar

Redwood Petrified Wood Sphere – Madagascar
Earthy reds, sandy cream and preserved wood patterns

This Redwood petrified wood sphere from Madagascar weighs 720g and measures approximately 80mm (8cm) in diameter. Deep reddish-brown areas contrast with sandy cream, warm ochre and darker markings, giving this piece quite a different appearance depending on which side faces you.

Turn it slowly and you’ll find flowing wood-grain patterns, fine pale lines and a broad cream-coloured area with small natural cavities. The polished finish brings out these details, making this a lovely sphere to spend time looking at from every angle.

Sold with stand.

Crystal Composition & Energy:

Petrified wood is fossilised wood in which minerals, commonly silica, have filled and replaced the original woody material while preserving details of its structure. The grain and other features of the wood can remain visible within the stone.

In crystal traditions, petrified wood is associated with grounding, patience and resilience. Its connection with ancient trees makes it a meaningful choice for intentions around putting down roots, finding stability and allowing yourself time to grow.

The sphere shape is traditionally associated with balance and the even distribution of energy, complementing petrified wood’s links with steadiness and connection to the earth.
