Beautiful pink Rhodochrosite with natural banding

This Rhodochrosite sphere has a lovely mix of deep pink, soft rose, cream and grey banding, with little areas and caves - a natural mineral texture running through the stone.

There is a beautiful pink centre to this piece, surrounded by those classic Rhodochrosite layers that almost look like little landscapes. It has a polished finish, but still keeps plenty of natural character, which I really like.
