The internal structure is so complex it looks like a cross-section of fertile earth or a fossilised woodland floor.

The clarity of the Quartz around the edges allows light to penetrate the sides, illuminating the different textures of the iron and chlorite within. The lens polish enhances the three-dimensional quality of the inclusions, making the internal layers appear to shift as you move it in your hand.
