Impactite from Greenland - Formed in the heart of a meteorite impact, these natural Impactite crystals hold the incredible energy of a cosmic collision. When an asteroid strikes with immense force, the heat and pressure can melt the surrounding Earth rock in an instant. If it cools too quickly for crystals to form, it becomes a dark, glassy material known as impact glass.
