This is a gorgeous, naturally formed Purple Fluorite straight from the ground in Illinois, left exactly as it was found. The cubes are stacked in that classic midwestern way, with deep violet shading into softer lavender when the light catches it. There’s a gentle dusting of mine material still clinging to the faces, which gives it that untouched, just-unearthed feeling. Some collectors like to leave them as they are, and others enjoy giving them a careful clean. If you chose to do that here, the colour and translucency would really open up, you can already see how beautifully it glows under a torch.
